Dental Implants: Features

DENTAL IMPLANTS

A Dental implant is the most advanced and popular option to replace one or more missing teeth. Implants are made of titanium, are biocompatible, and are the closest one can get to a natural tooth. In cases where all teeth are missing, implant-supported bridges or dentures can replace both function and aesthetics.

Dental Implants can restore your ability to chew food efficiently, speak well, and look good. With good oral hygiene care, implants can last for several years.

Our Implant Specialist is one of the best Dental Implant surgeons in the country, with vast clinical experience and knowledge. Having trained in India and abroad he's abreast with the latest techniques to manage simple as well as complex cases with precision.

What is the Dental Implant procedure like?

Before planning this procedure we do a complete clinical evaluation, diagnostic X- rays, study models, and take your medical history. At our Dental clinic, we use the most trusted brands of Dental Implants for predictable results.

Dental implants replace the root part of the tooth. They are implanted into the jaw bone in the area of the missing tooth with a minor surgical procedure under local anesthesia. Once the implant heals (Osseo-integrates) a crown is attached to it which can either be screw-retained or cement-retained.

Traditionally, a crown was attached to the Dental Implant only after 3-4 months of the healing period. In some cases now, especially in the front teeth where aesthetics is a concern and a lot of chewing stresses are not there, a crown can be placed on the implant almost immediately.

Advantages of Dental Implants

  • You can eat very well as Dental Implants function like natural teeth.

  • Being a fixed option they enhance aesthetics so you can smile with confidence. There is also no stress of anything slipping out or moving as happens with a denture.

  • Dental Implants help preserve the health of the natural teeth as well as the underlying bone.

  • They prevent a sunken facial appearance.

  • They are long-lasting.
